Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors.

 


Roles and Responsiblities

  • Assists with house keeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
  • Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
  • Answers resident call lights promptly.
  • Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
  • Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned.
  • Maintains communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
  • Provides great customer service, companionship, communication and engagement in activities.
  • Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable (i.e., check sitting position, hydration passing, etc.)
  • Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:  High School / GED
Experience:  0-1 years
